Well the voting for the art style of Goldie’s Revenge 2 is over and it’s been pretty one-sided. Coming in with a hefty 16 votes is Fish 1 (High-Rendered Goldie). People love this dude, they love his big ugly head, ha ha and so we do we. As for poor old Fish 2 (Classic Goldie), well, he’s only clocking in at 4 votes. I guess you know what that means, prepare to be seeing the next Goldie’s Revenge in an awesome new highly rendered art style. We want to thank everyone involved and we hope that when the game come’s out you’ll be happy with your choice! Thanks guys, Roll on Goldie’s Revenge 2, ha ha ha!

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010Coming Early 2011 – Goldie’s Revenge 2
Saturday, November 13th, 2010
We here at Open Emotion Studios are really happy and excited to announce the sequel to our breakthrough hit of 2010, Goldies Revenge. Goldie has been a great success to us as such a new, young company, with over 5 million unique plays across the globe. We really hope that you guys are as excited about GR2 as we are. In anticipation of the game, Mike Naughton, our awesome lead artist has put it to public vote to decide the new visual style for Goldie’s Revenge 2. Would you like to see Goldie more rendered (as in image 1) or would you prefer him to stay more the same as his original debut, albeit with a bit more polish (as in image 2). We’re making voting possible through both our Facebook or Twitter. Voting finishes Tuesday the 16th of November at 6 P.M (GMT). Goldies Revenge 2 will be hopefully 3 to 4 times longer than the first game and include all new game mechanics and enemies. We expect the game to be released in January 2011 and we are considering moving it to other platforms afterwards.
All the best, everyone,
